hey i finished a nest for Celeste it was really good i loved it. Its a story about art Inspiration and the meaning of home. I have long been an admirer of Henry Cole's contribution to children's literature. With his first novel,he weaves a tale that,in addition to his delightful illustrations, has all the best ingredients-a sense of history,time-honored themes,and just the right amount of imagination!

Henry Cole Feb 23
good morning today our school had my favorite author come in HENRY COLE, if you don't know who that is i Will tell you a colorful story about Henry Cole's childhood, so here it goes:when Henry Cole was a child, about 5 years old,[hey i did say a colorful story didn't I?],he told his brother Jimmy he wanted to be a test pilot so Jimmy[who did not really like his brother Henry] said that he could make Henry an air plane. So a half hour later he came back with a cardboard box with paper wings on the side and a pencil poked through the front and at the end of the pencil on the out side was a plastic propeller.[Henry and Jimmy live on a plantation] So Jimmy tells his brother to get on top of the silo. So they climb this really tall ladder and got to the top of the silo, Jimmy tells Henry to get in the plane so he does and Jimmy say that hes gonna push Henry of the silo and he wants him to twirl the pencil as fast as he can! So Henry grips the pencil Jimmy pushes him of he starts twirling it but he starts to fall but he did not break any bones because he landed in a hay stack So Jimmy says this:I think I know what the problem is,you need a second propeller!So Henry's like no I'm not gonna break every bone in my body I'm gonna write books. the end that is a true story! anyway Henry Cole recently wrote a new book called A NEST FOR CELESTE
